The networked art generator (or 'netdraw')

netdraw is a spin-off from the interactive story experiment Shirley Bassey Mixed Up.
It's a generative composition machine - written in PHP- that makes art from
web searches.

It takes Yahoo searches and converts the results into numbers and then plots them as line art, then sprinkles the search result words on top. A set of pre-set 'themes' allow the line art to take different forms, all of which is subject to controlled randomness, built into the program.

netdraw creates beautiful pictures that could look great big on a wall, and can easily output multiple variations for print, broadcast, or the Web.
